Hybrid turbochargers, Cartridge hybrids and performance parts

Turbo actuators

An actuator may require adjustment, calibration and/or programming after installation.

These operations must be carried out using the appropriate equipment and skills. The absence of the necessary adjustment or programming does not, in itself, constitute a fault in the actuator.

All applications for funding must be accompanied by the information and supporting documents required to assess the application.

ALFI TURBO may, in particular, request:

  • the invoice d'purchase of the product;' ;

VERIFICATION OF INVOICES AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

ALFI TURBO reserves the right to verify the authenticity d'an installation invoice or d'proof of payment directly from the business that issued it'.

A document that has been forged, altered, backdated or drawn up after the fault occurred, for the sole purpose of retroactively justifying an arrangement, does not constitute valid proof of the original arrangement.

Assessment, inspection and bench testing

ALFI TURBO can carry out an assessment, an inspection or a bench test to determine the condition of the product and the cause of the fault.

The decision on whether to provide care is made following an analysis of the information in the file and, where necessary, the results of the assessment.

Where no fault or defect covered by the warranty is found, charges for diagnosis, inspection or test bench testing may be invoiced, provided that the customer has been informed in advance of the amount or the method of calculation.

Where a claim covered exclusively by the manufacturer’s warranty is rejected following an assessment, the cost of returning the item may be borne by the customer, subject to applicable legal rights.

Do not remove the turbocharger before the inspection

In the event of a fault, please contact ALFI TURBO before carrying out any work that might alter the condition of the part. It must be possible to examine the product in a condition that allows the cause of the fault to be determined.
